Complete set of twenty-five 1940 Boston Red Sox Picture Pack photos, highlighted by Hall of Famers Ted Williams, Jimmie Foxx, Joe Cronin Bobby Doerr, Lefty Grove, and Manager Joe Cronin. Together with the original envelope. Each unnumbered black-and-white photo (6.5 x 9 inches) pictures the player in uniform and features the player's facsimile signature printed next to his image. The condition of the set is Ex to Ex-Mt overall, with a couple Nr/Mt, a few Vg to Vg-Ex, and one Fr due to adhesive residue on the reverse. Two cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. Keys: Cronin (Vg-Ex+), Doerr (Ex-Mt), Foxx (EX 5), Grove (Ex+), and Williams (VG+ 3.5). The envelope (10 x 7 inches) is unmarked and offers a very presentable appearance, technically grading modestly due to creasing, small tears, and spots of paper loss. Total: 25 photos plus envelope.
