Addendum: Please note the title in the printed catalog is incorrect. This lot is a near-complete set (minus two) not complete.

Near-complete set of 46 "Tom Mix Adventure Stories" booklets issued by National Chicle in 1934, missing only #30 and 40 for completion. Condition is 41% Vg-Ex to Ex, 43% Gd to Vg, and 16% lesser. This is a very attractive and relatively high-grade set, especially for these somewhat fragile eight-page booklets which are so susceptible to damage. Several of the booklets present with slight as-issued "diamond cuts." The high-number booklets from Series 2 are very difficult to find. The set is accompanied by an original wax wrapper (missing a small piece, Fr), original company mailing envelope (Pr), and promotional plastic "sheriff" badge (Ex). Total: 49 items (46 booklets plus wrapper, envelope, and badge).
