Description

Original photo of legendary boxer Sugar Ray Robinson, circa 1940s. Encapsulated and certified by PSA/DNA as an original Type I photograph. Robinson's name (typed) appears on the reverse. It is interesting to note that this particular image on the offered photo was used in the production of Robinson's 1947-1966 Exhibits card. Photos used in the production of trading cards have become increasingly popular in recent years. The photo (8 x 10 inches) displays scattered creasing along with multiple pinholes and spots of discoloration. While technically in Poor condition overall, the central image is largely unaffected by the aforementioned condition flaws and retains excellent clarity.
