Description

Limited-edition "Star Wars" lithograph by acclaimed concept artist Ralph McQuarrie. Signed the artist in silver paint pen in the lower-right margin and numbered "70/250." The scene captures an X-Wing fighter being chased by an Imperial TIE fighter within the narrow Death Star trench. McQuarrie's concept paintings played a pivotal role in helping George Lucas secure approval from 20th Century Fox to begin film production. The lithograph (18 x 10 inches; visible dimensions) is in apparent Near Mint condition overall. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 22 x 14 inches. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
