Description

Brooklyn Dodgers ticket stub issued for a doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies on May 9, 1953 at Ebbets Field. In the first game, Jackie Robinson slugged his 93rd career home run as the Dodgers defeated the Reds 7-6. Roy Campanella homered for the victors as well. The Phillies won the nightcap 8-4 despite a pair of home runs from Campanella. The ticket stub (1-3/8 x 2-3/4 inches) displays handwritten notations about the first game on the reverse. Otherwise, in Excellent condition overall.
