Description

Complete set of twenty-five N128 Duke "Snapshots from Puck" cards. A very attractive complete set of these rare, colorful, and very striking nineteenth-century tobacco cards, ranging in condition from Vg to Ex (averaging Vg-Ex), with a couple lesser. All of the Duke Tobacco cards in general are far rarer than cards issued by many other tobacco companies such as Allen & Ginter. Issued with Duke's Honest Long Cut tobacco, each card features a colorful, graphically detailed lithographic image of a cartoon taken from the 1880s humor magazine Puck. Duke's "Snapshots from Puck" is rarely offered as a complete set. Total: 25 cards.
