Vintage photo of Jackie Robinson sliding back into first base during a game against the Boston Braves. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type II photograph by PSA/DNA. Per PSA/DNA, this photo is a later-issued 1958-1962 restrike that was made off the original negative featuring an image taken on September 6, 1948, during the first game of a doubleheader at Braves Field, Boston, MA. Image used for the cover of the November 1950 issue (#4) of the 'Jackie Robinson' comic book by Fawcett Publications." The reverse bears a "United Press International Photo" credit stamp and a portion of the paper news caption. The photo (7 x 9 inches) exhibits scattered creasing and is in Very Good condition overall. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
