Description

Presented is a near-complete set of 1953-1955 Topps "World On Wheels" series consisting of 177 different cards, out of 180 in the set. This set includes seventeen of the twenty scarce high-number cards (#161-180). Missing the following three cards for completion: #161, 168, 169. Cards numbered #172-178 in the offered set are the more desirable blue-back variations. These cards feature beautiful illustrations of many different types of automobiles, from the earliest models to the newest creations of 1955. Condition is 12% Ex to Ex-Mt, 74% Vg to Vg-Ex, and 14% lesser (mostly Fr to Gd). The high numbers grade a bit lower than the low numbers. This is an attractive medium-grade near-complete set of this classic 1950s Topps nonsport issue. Total: 177 cards.
