Poster advertising all seven issues of How to Pitch Curves by Hall of Fame pitcher Mordecai Brown, published by the W. D. Boyce Co. of Chicago, Illinois, in 1913. According to the poster, local Chicago boys received the booklets for selling W.D. Boyce Co.'s monthly paper, the Blade and Ledger. The back of the poster features images of additional prizes available to newsboys, including gloves, balls, and bats. The poster (12 x 18 inches) displays a horizontal fold down the center and a small tear along the top edge. Very Good condition overall. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope (Gd), recruitment letter (Vg-Ex), and a pair of return postcards. Total: 5 items.
