Vintage children's Milwaukee Braves warmup jacket dating from the 1950s. For any young Braves fan in Milwaukee in the 1950s, having this jacket would have no doubt been a dream come true. We haven't seen many other examples, so it was probably an expensive gift, and of course after much use would probably be discarded. The black jacket, with zipper front, features red, black, and yellow trim along the collar, cuffs, and waist. Both the team name "Braves" and their familiar "tomahawk logo" appear across the front. A Braves "screaming Indian" patch is located on the left sleeve. A "Brill Bros, Inc." manufacturer's label and adjacent "14" size tag appear in the collar. The jacket is original as issued, with no alterations, and displays moderate wear. The zipper remains fully functional.
