Kalamazoo Bats tobacco card of Philadelphia Quakers outfielder Ed Andrews. Kalamazoo Bats are revered for their great rarity, unusual outdoor poses, unusual size, and unique design. The offered card displays strong clarity and contrast. The photo features an abundance of interesting details that Kalamazoos are so well known for (such as the bleachers in the background, Andrews' classic nineteenth-century mustache, pillbox cap, and uniform suspenders hanging at his sides). Encapsulated as "Authentic Altered" by CGC due to being remounted. This is an appealing example from one of the nineteenth century's most fascinating and highly prized sets.
