Description

Graded VG 40 by SGC. Attractive example of the 1929-1930 4-on-1 Exhibit featuring Hall of Famers Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and Leo Durocher (rookie) alongside Mark Koenig. In 1929, the Exhibit Supply Co. of Chicago changed the design of its cards and began issuing “4-on-1” Exhibits with four different players per card, all from the same team. This is the key from that set and a great card! The offered card has crisp images, even corner wear, and a clean postcard reverse. Two small spots of paper loss above Ruth's image contributes to the assigned grade.
