Description

Graded VG+ 3.5 by SGC. This is the ONLY example graded at this level by SGC with none higher! Rare and unusual "Arcade" card featuring New York Yankees Hall of Famer Babe Ruth and young child actor "Snookums" (Lawrence "Sunny" McKeen), circa 1926-1927. The card pictures Ruth holding the infant film star. The subjects' names, "Snookums and Babe Ruth," are printed along the base. The reverse is blank. This is just the second example we have offered in the past 22 years. The card displays a bold image, even corner wear, and light toning on the blank back. This is a fascinating Babe Ruth card dating from the peak years of his legendary career.
