Collection of seven issues of Baseball Magazine from 1919 to 1942. For over 50 years, beginning in 1908, Baseball Magazine was the voice of the National Pastime, documenting every nuance of the game and its history in words and photographs. Today, Baseball Magazine is no longer published, but old issues open a window to history that is unrivaled, providing information and photos that often can be found nowhere else. Its research value aside, collectors have always prized the magazine for the tremendous display value of its classic covers. Condition ranges from Pr to Vg-Ex. This collection consists of the following: Ty Cobb (January 1919), Generic Player Fielding (December 1931), Rabbit Maranville (August 1931), Joe DiMaggio (October 1940), 1940 World Champions Cincinnati Reds (November 1940), Hank Greenberg (May 1942), and Ossie Bluege/Clark Griffith (December 1942).
