Lot # 648: 1926-1929 Exhibits Style Babe Ruth SGC VG 40

This classic Exhibit-style card of Babe Ruth was actually issued by a small competitor of the Exhibit Supply Company. The cards were issued two ways: with or without a normal postcard indicia on the reverse. The offered example is the "Blank Back" variety. The card is bright and crisp front and back, with no creases, even wear on the corners, scattered age spots, and a flawless purple-and-white image. An outstanding mid-grade example of one of Ruth’s most classic cards.
