Lot # 1624: 1971 Bazooka Near-Complete Set (45/48)

Presented is a near-complete set of 1971 Bazooka consisting of forty-five different cards, out of 48 in the set. Missing three cards (#46, 47 Mays, and 48 Hunter) for completion. The following grades are without respect to the neatness of the cut on the box cards as professional grading companies require that all of the borders be present in order for a card to receive a numerical grade, and many of these cards would qualify only for "Authentic" because they are cut inside of, or too close to, the borders. Condition is 20% Nr/Mt or slightly better, 46% Ex to Ex-Mt, and 34% Vg to Vg-Ex (including ten Vg due to 100/0 centering). Keys: #18 Jackson (Ex), 23 Aaron (Nr/Mt), 29 Bench (Ex+), 32 Rose (Nr/Mt), 35 Seaver (Ex-Mt), and 38 Clemente (100/0 L/R, otherwise Ex). This is a very attractive near-complete set of these unusual, scarce, and underrated Bazooka Bubble Gum package-design cards. Total: 45 cards.
