Description

Brooklyn Dodgers regular-season ticket stub issued for a doubleheader against the Chicago Cubs on August 25, 1953, in which Jackie Robinson hit his 102nd and 103rd career home runs. Robinson's home runs occurred in the second game of the doubleheader. The Cubs defeated the Dodgers 3-1 in the opener, while the Dodgers took the nightcap, 6-5. Robinson went 4 for 8 on the day. The ticket stub (1-1/4 x 2-1/2) displays light creasing. In Very Good condition overall.
