Cooperstown Collection Danbury Mint figurine display depicting the celebration immediately following Don Larsen's perfect game in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series. On October 8, 1956, New York Yankees pitcher Larsen made baseball history when he pitched a perfect game in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series. To this day, it remains the only perfect game recorded in the World Series and one of only two no-hitters (the Houston Astros threw a combined no-hitter in Game 4 of the 2022 World Series). The sight of Yogi Berra leaping into Larsen's arms is one of the defining images in baseball history. Each figurine measures roughly six inches tall, and the wooden base measures 13 inches long; Near Mint to Mint condition overall and remains housed in its original shipping box.
