Bobby Bonds H&B signature-model "K75" bat dating from the 1973-1975 manufacturing period. PSA/DNA has described the bat as "authentic and was used by Bonds during the reference labeling period. Bonds' number is scripted in black marker on the knob. Per PSA/DNA, the "bat is uncracked with evidence of excellent use, slight checking (grain swelling) from repeated ball contact on the front barrel." PSA/DNA has also noted the bat is "disguised" as an Adirondack. This is due to the painted black ring on the upper handle. The black ring is a defining characteristic of Adirondack bats. A three-time All-Star and gold glove winner, Bonds retired in 1981 with 332 home runs and a .268 lifetime batting average. Length: 36.5 inches. Weight: 32.2 ounces. Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
