Original photo of Hall of Fame pitcher Satchel Paige and Spec Bebop posing at a barnstorming game in 1950. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Bebop was a performer with the Indianapolis Clowns, a Negro League team sometimes likened to today's Savannah Bananas, where he starred in comedic skits and vaudeville routines during the 1940s and 1950s. The reverse has a credit stamp for photographer "Dwight E. Dolan," Paige's handwritten name, and editorial markings. The photo (8 x 10 inches) displays scattered creasing and a tiny surface indentation along the right edge. Good to Very Good condition overall.
