Original news photo of Joe Jackson, circa 1910s. Certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. This fascinating shot captures Jackson in formal attire (hat backward) on the field in a batting pose. With a pair of Cleveland teammates watching in the background, this photo was likely taken during a lighthearted spring training session. Specifics aside, this remains a captivating photo of Jackson dating from the heart of his legendary career. The reverse bears a pair of "N.E.A. Reference Dept. credit stamps and date stamps ("May 21 1914" and Feb 10 1919"). Also visible are a few editorial notations, including Jackson's name.
