Original stock certificate book for the Boston Red Sox, used by the organization from 1913 to 1923. While only one stock certificate remains intact (#100, unissued), the book contains 41 stock certificate ledgers, three signed by Harry Frazee and five signed by August Hermann. Frazee owned the Red Sox from 1916 to 1923, while Hermann served as the president of the Cincinnati Reds from 1902 to 1927. Notably, several of these stocks were executed during Babe Ruth's arrival to the Red Sox (summer 1914) and departure via trade to the New York Yankees (early 1920). The book (16 x 9.5 inches) displays heavy wear and is missing the back cover. Poor condition overall.
