Presented is an extremely attractive and mostly high-grade near-complete set of 1950 Bowman baseball consisting of 250 different cards (out of 252 in the set), missing only #22 Robinson (being sold individually in this auction) and 53 for completion. The 1950 Bowman set is often overlooked by collectors simply because it does not include a Mantle or Mays rookie, but this was a landmark set in its day, being the first postwar baseball issue to feature full-color artwork instead of photographs. Thirty-nine cards have been professionally graded and encapsulated by PSA. Grading Composite: MINT 9 (3 cards): #197, 198, and 237. NM-MT+ 8.5 (6 cards): #34, 100, 101, 196, 235, and 236.
