Vintage photo capturing 14 members of the 1886 Detroit Wolverines. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type IV photograph by PSA/DNA. As noted by PSA/DNA, this photo is a "later-issued 1950's example that was made off a duplicate negative featuring an image originally taken by Frank N. Tomlinson in 1886. Note that 1905 stamp date on reverse is incorrect as the photo was made in the 1950s." The formal studio photo pictures Watkins (mgr.), Thompson, Brouthers, Hanlon, White, Bennett, Baldwin, Richardson, Crane, Twitchell, Hall, Getzien, Manning, and Rowe. The reverse features multiple date stamps and editorial notations. The photo, which has been trimmed to its current dimensions of 6.25 x 8.25 inches, is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
