Bernie Williams Rawlings signature-model ("DW20") bat dating from the 2001 season. Graded GU 10 by PSA/DNA. The cupped-end bat, which is not cracked, displays evidence of outstanding use, including ball marks and ball stitch impressions (including blue ink transfers and white-leather scuffs). The model number ("DW20"), order number ("233"), and year ("01") are stamped on the knob. Williams has signed the barrel in "Bernie Williams/Game Used" in silver marker. Williams became the Yankees' everyday center fielder in 1993 and quickly established himself as one of the premier players at the position. In addition to helping lead the Yankees to four World Championships, Williams appeared in five All-Star Games and won four Gold Glove Awards. In 2015, the Yankees honored Williams by retiring his uniform number (No. 51) and dedicating a plaque to him in Monument Park. Length: 34.5 inches. Weight: 32.7 ounces. Full LOAs from PSA/DNA and Steiner Sports (corresponding stickers affixed to the handle and barrel). Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
