On August 21, 2009, the New York Yankees defeated the Boston Red Sox 20-11 at Fenway Park in the highest-scoring game ever played between these ancient rivals. Offered is a game-used baseball from that historic contest, signed by the Yankees' famed "Core Four" of Mariano Rivera (sweet spot), Jorge Posada, Derek Jeter, and Andy Pettitte. The ball, which bears a "3/11" limitation number, is moderately soiled, consistent with that of a game-used ball. The ball is affixed with MLB and Steiner certification stickers. Auction LOA from James Spence/JSA.
