On May 25, 2011, Hall of Fame closer Mariano Rivera appeared in his 1000th career game, pitching a scoreless inning in the New York Yankees' 7-3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays at Yankee Stadium. Offered is a game-used baseball from that contest. Rivera has signed the Official Major League baseball (Selig) "Mariano Rivera/'5-25-'11/1000th Appearance" in blue ink along the sweet spot. The ball, which bears a "5/15" limitation number, is lightly soiled, consistent with that of a game-used ball. The ball is affixed with MLB and Steiner certification stickers.
