Description

Tober "Amateur League" baseball signed in blue fountain pen by seven members of the circa 1936 New York Yankees. All of the signatures are faint, but those of Lou Gehrig on the sweet spot and Joe DiMaggio on a side panel remain easily legible. The other discernible signatures are those of Earle Combs (coach), Red Rolfe, Pat Malone, Joe Glenn, and Johnny Murphy. The ball displays moderate toning, with a number of small abrasions.
