Description

Original photo of Hall of Fame first baseman Jimmie Foxx as a member of the Boston Red Sox, signed by him on the front. Foxx has inscribed the photo "Best Wishes, Jimmie Foxx" in black ink. Foxx is captured leaping with his glove fully extended, snaring a high throw or a sharp line drive at first base. Accompanied by a Full LOA from PSA/DNA, which has certified the photo as a Type I example and deemed the signature "Authentic." Per PSA/DNA, the photo measures 8 x 10 inches and is in apparent Good condition (please note that the letter shows the picture before it was framed. The top-right corner is chipped). Matted and framed to total dimensions of 15 x 17 inches. The size/weight of this item requires that there will be an additional shipping charge for this lot.
