Description

Original news photo providing a batter's perspective of Hall of Fame pitcher Sandy Koufax. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Koufax is captured delivering a pitch during the seventh game of the 1965 World Series against the Minnesota Twins, which the Dodgers won. The reverse bears a "United Press International Photo" credit stamp and a paper news caption, along with a "Dec 26 1968" date stamp and Koufax's handwritten name. The photo (8 x 10-1/8 inches) displays scattered creasing and is missing a piece along the bottom edge. Fair condition overall.
