Description

Presented is an outstanding 1929 Rogers Peet original album. The 1929 Rogers Peet set is one of the is one of the rarest multisport issues of the late 1920s. The series was a promotional vehicle for a chain of boys' clothing stores in the New York and Boston areas. Each boy visiting the store with a parent would receive a set of four cards from the set to be stored in a 14-page album (as offered here) specifically designed for this issue. The sports featured in the set include baseball, football, hockey, golf, tennis, swimming, track, and aviation. The album (4.75 x 7.75 inches) is in Excellent to Near Mint condition overall.
