Graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA. Beautiful mid-grade example of one of Babe Ruth's truly great early 1920s cards. 1921 was the first year the legendary Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago issued cards. It would go on to issue sets for the next 50 years. These cards were sold by Exhibit card machines at amusement parks and penny arcades, one penny per card. This is the key card from the set and one of Ruth's earliest cards featuring him with the Yankees. The card is bright and crisp with even corner wear and excellent image quality. The blank-backed reverse is mainly clean. An extremely attractive example of one of Ruth’s most desirable and classic cards.
