Description

Impressive rare Checklist card (paper thin) from the 1948-1952 Exhibits football series featuring an image of Chuck Bednarik in the background. This is the second of its kind that we have seen (although we are aware of the existence of others). The card is bright and crisp with bold printing and light wear on the corners. There is evidence of glue residue on the blank back. Encapsulated as "Authentic" by SGC. This card has always been a special challenge for serious Exhibits completists. This is a very attractive example of this 1948-1952 Exhibits football rarity, which would make a significant contribution to the assembly of a complete master set.
