Description

Original photo of Ty Cobb as a member of the Detroit Tigers, circa 1912. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Cobb is captured in the outfield at Hilltop Park (home of the New York Highlanders) mid-throw during a practice session. Despite not possessing an exceptional throwing arm according to his contemporaries, Cobb's 270 assists rank second all-time amongst center fielders. The photo (7 x 5 inches) exhibits scattered creasing and a small tear along the top border. Good condition overall.
