Lot # 2149: Circa 1936 Lou Gehrig Signed Original Photograph - PSA/DNA & JSA

Presented is an original circa 1936 photograph of Hall of Fame first baseman Lou Gehrig, signed by the legendary "Iron Horse" in black ink. Gehrig has personalized the photo "To John/With Kindest/Regards/Lou Gehrig." PSA/DNA has encapsulated the photo and certified the signature as "Authentic." The black-and-white photograph shows Gehrig in uniform at Navin Field in Detroit (home of the Tigers). The photo (3.25 x 4.25 inches) has heavy creasing, as well as ink notations ("July 1936/Navin Field/Detroit') and a couple tape repairs on the reverse. In Poor condition.
