Lot # 2185: Signed 1944-1945 Albertype (Type 1) Black-and-White Hall of Fame Postcard Hugh Duffy PSA/DNA MINT 9

Black-and-white (Albertype, Type 1) Hall of Fame postcard of Hugh Duffy signed by him in black fountain pen on the front. PSA/DNA has encapsulated the card and graded the signature MINT 9. Duffy signed Hall of Fame postcards are scarce because he was inducted into the Hall in 1945 and died just nine years later, leaving collectors with just a short period of time to acquire his signature. This is just the fifth example we have offered in the past 21 years. The postcard (3.5 x 5.5 inches) is in apparent Excellent condition overall.
