Lot # 2402: 1975 to 1977 Boston Red Sox Game-Used Home and Road Jersey Collection (4) Including Blackwell, Drago, Heise, and Montgomery

Collection of four Boston Red Sox game-used jerseys (two home and two road), dating from the 1970s, all of which have the unique provenance of having originated from the family member of a Boston Red Sox player. The jerseys offered here are the following: 1) 1975 Tim Blackwell Red Sox home jersey. The white knit home jersey is lettered "Red Sox" on the front and features the number "39" on the reverse. All letters and numerals are appliquéd in red on blue tackle twill. Both a "McAuliffe" label and "40" size tag appear in the collar. A "1975" year tag and laundry tag are located on the exterior center front tail. The jersey, which is completely original, is unaltered and displays light use. 2) 1975 Dick Drago Red Sox road jersey. The gray knit road jersey is lettered "Red Sox" on the front and features the number "41" on the reverse. All letters and numerals are appliquéd in red on blue tackle twill. Both a "McAuliffe" label and "44" size tag appear in the collar. A "1975" year tag and laundry tag are located on the exterior center front tail. The jersey, which is completely original, is unaltered and displays light to moderate use, including scattered staining on the reverse. 3) 1976 Bob Heise Red Sox road jersey. The gray knit road jersey is lettered "Boston" on the front and features the number "12" on the reverse. All letters and numerals are appliquéd in red on blue tackle twill. Both a "McAuliffe" label and "40" size tag appear in the collar. A "1976" year tag and laundry tag are located on the exterior center front tail. The jersey, which is completely original, is unaltered and displays light use. 4) 1977 Bob Montgomery Red Sox home jersey.
