This ball, along with several other items offered in this auction, originates directly from Urban Shocker's estate and is accompanied by a signed letter of provenance from his great-grandson. The official American League baseball (Johnson) is scripted "Dads 19th Win" in blue ink across the sweet spot. Accompanied by a copy of a photograph that captures Urban handing his son, Cletus (a bat boy during the game), the ball. The ball has moderate soiling and scattered abrasions consistent with its game use.
