Description

Original news photo of Hall of Fame pitcher Dizzy Dean in 1933 as a member of the St. Louis Cardinals. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The photo captures Dean close-up in a follow-through pose. A "Newspaper Enterprise Association" credit stamp appears on the reverse, as do several editorial markings. The photo (7 x 8.75 inches) displays two chipped corners and light creasing. Editorial crop lines and the handwritten number "4" appear on the front. Good to very Good condition overall.
