Colorful cigar-box outer label featuring a baseball motif. The label, issued for a brand of cigar titled "Base Hit," features a portrait illustration of a young woman within the design of a baseball, set against the backdrop of a game in progress. "Copyrighted 11889 by Schumacher & Ettlinger NY" is printed along the base. The production number "6942" is printed in black along the right border. The label (4.25 x 4.25 inches) displays both surface paper residue and adhesive residue on the reverse, as well as two small interior tears (no paper loss) that affect the portrait of the woman.
