Description
Fold-over scorecard issued by the Philadelphia Athletics for an American Association game against the Cincinnati Red Stockings. The team and year are printed on the front cover. The preprinted lineups include Stovey, Larkin, Purcell, Houck, and O'Brien for Philadelphia, and McPhee, Jones, Reilly, Fennelly, and Carpenter for Cincinnati. Neatly scored in pencil to record a 9-7 Philadelphia win. Research indicates that this second game of a doubleheader took place on May 30. The scorecard (7.5 x 9.5 inches; unfolded) displays light creasing, minor toning front and back, and pencil notations on the front cover. In Good condition overall.
