Scarce New York Giants ticket stub issued for the fourth game of the 1917 World Series against the Chicago White Sox, held at the Polo Grounds on October 11th. Graded GOOD 2 (MK) by PSA. This is one of only three 1917 Game 4 World Series ticket stubs evaluated by PSA, Behind pitcher Ferdie Schupp, the Giants defeated the White Sox 5-0 to tie the series at two games a piece. Benny Kauff hit two home runs in the game, one being an inside-the-park over the head of outfielder Happy Felsch. The ticket stub (1-3/8 x 3-1/4 inches) displays numerous creases, a clipped upper-left corner, and pencil notations on the reverse (game results), hence the "MK" qualifier.
