Scarce ticket stub to Game 3 of the 1918 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs, held at Comiskey Park in Chicago. Boston's Carl Mays bested Cubs' starter Hippo Vaughn 2-1 in Game 3, which gave Boston a 2-1 lead in the Series. The Red Sox defeated the Cubs in 6 games to capture their fourth and final World Championship of the decade. The ticket stub (2 x 2-5/8 inches) displays several surface abrasions and black ink notations on the reverse. Poor condition overall.
