Original news photo of Joe DiMaggio as a member of the San Francisco Seals (Pacific Coast League) in 1933. Encapsulated and certified as an original type I photograph by PSA/DNA. DiMaggio is shown receiving a commemorative watch from the mayor of San Francisco the day after extending his hit streak to 50 games, establishing a new PCL record. His remarkable streak didn't end there, as DiMaggio pushed it to 61 games before it finally came to a close. The reverse features the original paper news caption and an "International News Photos" credit stamp. The photo (8.5 x 6.5 inches) exhibits minor creasing and is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
