Description
Vintage photo of Babe Ruth signing his 1927 contract with the New York Yankees. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type IV photograph by PSA/DNA. Ruth is captured putting ink to paper with team owner Jacob Ruppert and general manager Ed Barrow. Ruth powered the 1927 Yankees to one of the greatest seasons in baseball history, smashing a then-record 60 home runs as the club rolled to a World Series title. The reverse bears three "Browns Brothers" credit stamps and editorial notations. The photo (7 x 9 inches) has a chipped bottom-right corner and scattered creasing. Fair condition overall.
