Description

Vintage photo capturing Babe Ruth in his familiar swing-through pose. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type IV photograph by PSA/DNA. It is interesting to note that this particular image on the offered photo was used in the production of several of Ruth's 1933 Goudey cards (#53, 144, and 149). Photos used in the production of trading cards have become increasingly popular in recent years. Three "Brown Brothers" credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Ruth's name and a few additional editorial notations. The photo (8-1/8 x 10 inches) displays scattered creasing and is in Very Good condition overall.
