Description
Original news photo of Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, and John Burroughs in 1920. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The trio (plus Harry Firestone) referred to themselves as the "For Vagabonds" and made several summer excursions together. The 1920 trip was held at Burroughs' cabin retreat in the Catskill Mountains. The reverse bears the original "Underwood & Underwood" paper news caption and a "Nov 19, 1920" filing stamp. The photo (7 x 9 inches), which has been trimmed to its current dimensions, displays surface damage along the bottom border and is in Good to Very Good condition overall.
