Original news photo of Philadelphia Athletics Hall of Fame second baseman Eddie Collins, circa 1928. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. Collins is pictured posing on the field holding his bat. A pair of “Underwood & Underwood credit stamps appear on the reverse, as does a portion of the original paper news caption and an editorial notation. The photo (8 x 10) displays a bit of adhesive residue on the back and is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
