Description
Original news photo of Hall of Fame pitcher Walter Johnson as a member of the Washington Senators, circa 1920. Encapsulated and certified as an original Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The photo captures Johnson in a pitching pose. The reverse bears editorial notations, an "International Newsreel Photo" credit stamp, and remnants of the paper news caption. The photo, trimmed to its current dimensions of 6.5 x 8.5 inches, exhibits scattered creasing and is in Good condition overall.
