Description

Original news photo featuring six members of the 1940 Brooklyn Dodgers, including Hall of Famers Leo Durocher and Pee Wee Reese. Encapsulated and certified a Type I photograph by PSA/DNA. The group is pictured at the edge of the dugout, receiving instructions from Durocher. Reese, seen here during his rookie season, is pictured third from right. The reverse bears an "Associated Press Photo" credit stamp and editorial notations. The photo (9 x 7 inches) displays scattered creasing and the number "96" written in pencil along the bottom border. Faint crop marks are also visible directly above and below the central image. Very Good condition overall.
